Thrace Development Agency is recruiting a Project Manager, Project Assistant and Communication Manager within the scope of Black Sea Basin – Interregional Cooperation for Adaptation to Climate in Agriculture Project

Position Details for the Project Manager                  

Duration: 18 months

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the project in line with project requirements, timelines, and objectives.
  • Monitor and control the project’s work plan and ensure the project is implemented properly.
  • Act as intermediary for all communications between partners and managing authority.
  • Support the preparation of deliverables and reports.
  • Implement quality procedures for the project.
  • Ensure compliance with EU funding rules and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, financial records, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication between project partners, members, and stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and information exchange.
  • Organize and participate in project meetings (physical and virtual) and events.
  • Contribute to project dissemination activities, such as presentations, and communication materials.
  • Draft policy statements and positions according to the project’s objectives and results.

Qualifications and Experience

  • For male candidates, not to have any ongoing obligation related to military service.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience.
  • Project managing experience in at least two EU funded projects.
  • Experience in developing training and capacity-building programs, including organizing events.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (at least 90 points on the YÖKDİL or YDS exams or an equivalent score on a TOEFL, IELTS or PTE exams within the last two years).
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills: able to work with large, geographically and culturally diverse, teams and deliver results.
  • Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder tasks and timelines.

 

Position Details for the Project Assistant

Duration: 18 months/half time

Responsibilities

  • The Assistant project coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support, assisting with documentation, scheduling meetings, and organizing project-related events.

 Qualifications and Experience

  • For male candidates, not to have any ongoing obligation related to military service.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in developing training and capacity-building programs, including organizing events.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent IT skills (including MS Office, Teams, Zoom, Miro, social media & CRM platforms).
  • Experience working on EU-funded projects is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: able to work with large, geographically and culturally diverse, teams and deliver results.
  • Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder tasks and timelines.

 Position Details for the Communication Manager

Duration: 18 months/half time

Responsibilities

  • The communication manager is responsible for the coordination of tasks about the project’s website, social media channels, awareness raising and dissemination activities, managing media relations, and ensuring effective communication flow.

Qualifications and Experience

  • For male candidates, not to have any ongoing obligation related to military service.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of a 2nd language is preferred.
  • Excellent IT skills (including MS Office, Teams, Zoom, Miro, social media & CRM platforms).
  • Experience working on EU-funded projects is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: able to work with large, geographically and culturally diverse, teams and deliver results.
  • Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder tasks and timelines.
