Development Committee

Development Committee is an advisory body working to develop collaboration between the state institutions and organizations, the private sector, civil society organizations, universities and local administrations, as well as guiding the agency. The board votes for a chairman from amongst its members, every two years. When the chairman's affiliation with the institution they represent ends, their duty as chairman also ends and a new chairman is voted in the first meeting held. The development committee meets at least twice a year upon the invitation of the chairman. In addition to this, the committee may also be called for a meeting upon the request of one fifth of the total number of members. The development committee meets with the absolute majority of its members, and confirms decisions by majority. The committee is responsible for discussing, evaluating and offering the board of directors suggestions concerning the agency's annual operations and internal audit reports.
